Does brand matter?

I've noticed when I'm tracking foods that sometimes the brand I bought isn't in the database, but other similar brands are. Do you guys think it matters if I use a similar brand instead of the specific one I bought? One example that comes to mind is Velveeta shells and cheese -- Velveeta brand isn't in the Weight Watchers database, but a few others are. Does it matter if I just track the other brand instead?

I think in some cases, brand can matter because they don't all have the same nutritional value. Why don't you make your own entry whenever you don't see your specific brand listed?

Yea the different brands will make things slightly differently so they won't be exactly the same nutritionally. Tbh though I'd just log it as a different brand cos it wouldnt be that different I wouldn't think! It depends how strict you're being though!

I think it can matter as all foods have different nutritional values, but I don't think there would be too big of a difference though. Could you create a new food on there if it's not listed?
