My 2018 Journey & Workouts - Eating Healthy Getting Fitter Again
So 2017 I said I'd sort myself out AGAIN ... I did on and off. I just didn't keep to routine.
I'm 1 jean size bigger than I want to be so measurements are my target... I'd like to be down to 20% body fat by end of 2018 so body fat is my target but I'm not going to obsess. I will check in every 3 months instead of monthly.
My endurance is shot as I've hardly done any cardio and I've not been able to improve some of my weights due to my shoulder injury
so I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and improve on the things I can do.
I hope to make the minimum of 4 sessions a week training and minimum of 1 day a week doing some walk sprints... I know I will die!

WHERE I DO WANT TO BE. My guess is I'm up to 26/27% body fat right now.

Well my week hasn't started as planned... absolutely loaded with the cold and working from home in my PJs on the sofa with the fleece blanket around me!
I did the NYE workout although I had to adapt it with my shoulder.
66 dedlifts
66 box jumps
66 kettlebell swings
66 knees 2 elbows ... swapped with bent over barbell rows
66 sit-ups
66 pull-ups .
.. I swapped with 66 sit-ups again but did them between the next 2 excercises to break it up
66 thrusters
66 wallballs
66 burpees ...
I managed 20 and did 46 high pulls with KB
66 double unders or 132 singles ...
I did singles

Hoping I manage it in tomorrow but I already feel a chest infection so I'm not beating myself up if I don't but defo back in Thursday!
What an amazing calorie burn! That sounded like a tough workout but it must have felt amazing to have got through it

It was tougher than it could have been especially with a bottle of prosecco swishing around
I stayed off the gym today as I'm not 100% but I'm back in tomorrow morning even if I do 'something' I need to zone in!
Today is a low cal and low carb day!

My plans failed ...
My alarm went off, I woke with a fuzzy head and I just switched it off ... I woke just after 10am
I clearly needed it, I defo don't feel great so although I was set to go this week I'm not going to kick myself.
Back to it this morning but it was minus temp, cold cold cold which wasn't great on the done nothing since NYE and my chest!
4 rounds:
10 romanian deadlifts
16 lunges
Then clocked tine of:
60 skips
10 high puls with barbell
10 wallballs
... 2.30 minutes on round and round. Stop for 1.30 minutes and repeat until time was up (forgot total)
Dragged my butt out of bed after 4 snoozes
To start:
Pause push press - 4 round of 3 reps
Next 3 rounds of:
10 Bent over flies
10 Slow bent over rows with barbell
End party - Every minute on the minute:
10 Barbell hang cleans
5 Wall balls (my replacements for burpees)
... I can't remember how many rounds of the last but I do know the cold really had my chest today again and I had to skip the wall balls a couple of times. Breathing is essential
Squat day yesterday - pause squats!
squats but it just added to my sore arse
Followed with various 1 min exercises some ab work, sprints and my first use of the new Assault Air Bike ... It's HORRIBLE
