How many people do circuits here? I am talking about cardio circuits. Elliptical for 5 minutes, then treadmill at 4.0 for 5 minutes, jump off and do some weights, followed by the elliptical again. I hear this is the best way to burn calories. Anyone else do circuits when you are at the gym? Is it working for you?

I don't go to the gym, but do the 30 day shred which is circuits! It does work well for me, as long as I stick to it

I used to do this with my daughter when she was losing weight in order to join the Navy. It's hard work, but it worked because she lost a couple of stone in a few months. She was only sixteen though, and it's easier when you're young.

Wow kiwi! That is a heck of a workout. I don't think I could do all of that at one time. I am working my way up to more reps and more equipment but that is impressive. Butters - I do agree that it is easier to lose weight when you are younger.

Circuit training, a type of body conditioning that combines high-intensity aerobic exercise with exercises done in a circuit pattern, is comparable to high-intensity interval training. It aims to increase physical endurance and strength.
