Ive never really been interested in it... its not something that appeals to me... but 1000 cals an hour burnt does!!!

LOL

Im going to an aqua zumba class next week so I'll see what thats like!

I love to boogie so zumba is my thing. It's more interesting to burn calories while doing something you enjoy. My trainer always tries to spice things up so that it never gets boring.

Zumba is awesome. It's number one in the fun category. the only problem is that if you don't exert yourself, it won't do much for you. You need a very intense session for it to burn that many calories.

I love Zumba

I really love Zumba. I don't go to a Zumba group, but I'd like to someday. Right now I just put the DVD on and dance my heart out. I skip some parts where the movement is just too fast for me. Zumba puts a smile on my face because the music is so cheerful!

Is it possible to even burn 1000 calories in an hour? I think you would have put an IV in me to slow my heart back down.

I'm not one for group exercising because I always feel like I am not keeping up. I'd like to do it at home first and get a little more fit before I join a class.

I just read Tezzy's post above, about an aqua zumba class. Now that sounds like fun! Fast tempo Latin music in the pool - what a great combination. Tezzy, I can't wait to hear how you liked it.
