Been rather naughty

Only lost a pound at weigh in last week after lots of birthday over eating.

This last week I have been celebrating in England as my daughter turned 21 this year and so did 3 of her cousins. Whilst I was very good at lunch, had salmon and salad with no dressing, avoided all the yummy puddings, we did go out to cocktails in the evening. Also met a friend I hadn't seen in 4 years for Yo sushi, had a G&T and about 4 different dishes there, then we had cake and pimms eek! hahaha. Otherwise I have been good, so the scales are showing a STS at the moment - blessed relief. I have two days to try and scrape a little loss but I intend to have another 3 months now of being spectacularly good and getting myself on the way to looking swish for Christmas

Right - that's off my chest now lol, thanks for listening xxx

Sometimes going off track just a bit is a good thing In the past, when I have hit a plateau, if I had a good solid meal that I would not normally eat, I suddenly saw weight loss the next week. That just goes to show "all in moderation" even the cheat days. Good luck! I enjoy reading your posts - they are quite inspirational and help keep me motivated!

Sometimes you just need to have fun and forget about the diet! You had great time, you were at the parties, met good people and ate good food;-) And the best - you did not gain weight! So it was great time, you relaxed and got more power and strength to carry on with your diet;-)

Sometimes we go off plan and enjoy celebrations, friend, family and so on. If you don't you end up miserable.

Lyma is right, I've actually come of out a plateau previously eating badly and just going with it, I was pretty made up!

Don't feel bad, hope you had a lovely time and just get back into good mode like you say

We all go off track at times. It can be hard to stay 100% all the time and sometimes going off track can be a good thing. It sounds like you had a great time and well done on STS!

I agree, we all go off track sometimes and it can also be beneficial in the long run. As long as we don't go off track often enough that it becomes the "new norm", which can be my problem!

Well, it is not very often that four people in the family all celebrate their 21st birthdays around the same time so I think you can forgive yourself.
