Having a rough time and put back on 1/2 stone so back on atkins to try and pull myself back to where I was and abit lower I hope. Hoping to have my heart tests done by next month and all being well I get a green light to exercise again!

At least 80% of fat loss comes from the diet. Exercise is awesome, but it is a generally poor strategy to lose weight, the calories burned are so comparatively low, for most activities like running etc, you would need to run hard for an hour a day to lose 1 lb fat a week.

So, don't fret on the exercise. If you build in a moderate calorie deficit, avoid processed foods, eat adequate protein, you can get some stunning results with no exercise at all.

If you want some input on setting calorie / macronutrient ratios, just shout out and I'll help

Good luck Mamafy, I feel your pain. I have been bouncing up and down for the last year and I need to get back in the saddle. We can do it!! For me, it's day by day, food by food! Walking is great, don't underestimate it. Do what you need to for the best of your health!
