Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, all! What are you all up to tonight? Anything fun?

The most trouble I'm going to get into is eating too many s'mores and hot dogs around a campfire. It's a tradition a friend and I started years ago--once the kids are down for the night, we start a fire and tell spooky stories till it burns out. The more people there are, the merrier.

Any cool traditions you guys keep for Halloween?

Just say no to the s'mores if you can. Have a few plain graham crackers without the marshmallow and Hershey's.

Sounds like a good time. I love sitting around a fire on a cool evening. What is the weather like where you are? We have a high chance of rain tonight.

S'mores ... Yum!

We don't really have any Halloween traditions at our house. We never lived in a trick-or-treating-friendly neighborhood so we've never participated in that and since Thanksgiving and Christmas are both just around the corner we don't bother with cooking a large dinner. For the most part, it's really just another Thursday for us!

We took the girls to a family pub where they had a party in the soft play area ... They enjoyed it, I considered it a waste of £10! Will be making sure next year is more fun!

I just ended up watching TV I did have a Refresher that was in the sweet bowl for the trick or treaters, but didn't slip up other than that one

The campfire was a success! As it turned out, we didn’t have the makings for s’mores, so we stuck to the hot dogs. I was sure we were going to get rained out, but we didn’t get much more than a slight drizzle. We stayed dry enough.

Halloween has seemed quieter in recent years. I wonder why that is.
