Why do men never listen when they are sick or injured and we tell them to visit the doctor? It seems like over the years I have come across so many stubborn men that would rather have their leg fall off than visit a doctor.

I have found that to be true also. They won't go to the doctor, but yet, a case of the sniffles will send them to their beds and they are certain no one has ever been sicker.

My boyfriend brags about not having gone to the doctor in over a decade. Shoot, I go to the doctor once every year at a minimum. I see where he is coming from considering our ability to do self-diagnosis on the web nowadays. But you are right, they are not much more than overgrown children.

I am still waiting for a call back from my own family doctor to see if it is possible to get him in. Since he has no main doctor he would be coming in as a new patient and that is always a pain. The doctor I have is very popular and it is hard to get spots in to see him.

Men are blummin useless when it comes to medical stuff! I had to drag my OH to a&e a while back cos he was having chest and arm pains - luckily he was ok, but he's still not registered with a gp cos he doesn't see how he'd have time to go! I'm convinced he's got a slipped/prolapsing disk in his back, but apparently he's too busy to get it checked out hope your other half's ok xx

So true! Men are so stubborn about going to the doctor. I've always had to nag and nag my husband before he will make an appointment and then half the time he will cancel it beforehand!
