What side tin foil do you use when cooking?
Are you using tin foil wrong?

... Have to admit I was oblivious about this!!!

Is it the shiny or none shiny dull side up?

It’s the dull side up and shiny side down. So many people are fond not to know this.

So random fact for you

I’ve definitely been using it wrong then... I think I’ve always used it with the dull side closest to the food... no idea why though, maybe it just looks better??

Closet to food would be dull side up then, no? If so that is right. Food would be on top of the dull. I always put dull facing down onto a tin or tray etc x

I think I was thinking of when I use it to cover something.
If I put it underneath or wrap something in it, it’s shiny side out

No I meant for cooking on!

If I wrap I do shiny side out but seems common if cooking on like lining a baking tray most have shiny side up and it should be the other way round!
