New family member

My twenty-year old half sister has just given birth to a baby girl.
I'm very excited to be a new aunt, even though I've never met my sister! She lives in a different country with my dad and her mum, and I'm not sure how they are taking it. I hope to meet both mother and new baby for the first time early next year.

Congratulations to you and your sister. a new baby is always a joy, no matter the circumstances. My mum had me when she was only nineteen and it turned out very well. I hope she is an a position to look after the little one.

Congratulations on the new baby in the family. How does it feel to be an aunt? I bet you are excited about meeting up with family in the near future.

New babies are great, and when you can sit for them then give them back to the parents it is ever better. I am sure you will start to spoil the baby as soon as you can, I don't think anyone can not spoil a new baby. I know I can't.

Yes, it's exciting and I can't wait to meet her. My sister is still trying to decide between calling her Michaela or Tiana. Apparently everyone around her wants to name the baby!
