lunch at garden centre

I have just had lunch in a garden centre and chose carrot & coriander soup with a herb scone. However, I don't know the syn values and my food optimising book doesn't have either values in it. Can anyone help please. I would have thought the soup was pretty well free but the herb scone?? not cheese and not sweet so no fat and no sugar. Thanks

I think you would need to guess if no calorie information was available.

Calories in a homemade herb scone with no cheese is 145 calories so I would count this as 7 syns.

Thank you so much for your help. Despite being quite the SYNer I am managing to lose a little at a time. I need to work out what I weigh in stones as I have been working in kilos for the past 10-11 years living in the middle east.

You can convert your weight easily using calculators online.

Garden centre cafes are always nice homemade food. Yummy!
