Do you deal with anyone that is always trying to sabotage your diet?

My aunt is always trying to do that. Whenever I go there for a family birthday party or holiday she is constantly trying to stuff food down me. I'll tell her I'm dieting, but she takes it as an insult if I don't gobble stuff down like a piggy. Then she always puts together a package of leftovers for me to take home. I know it comes from love, but STOP IT.

Oh that's not good, have you told her you love her food and her food and her kind gestures but you are trying very hard right now to lose weight?

Only people who sabotage my diet is friends that drink ... All of em

My OH's a proper feeder, I think it's partly to do with him being a bit on the larger side and he doesn't like that ive lost a load of weight and I blame people that offer me alcohol too! Either for the extra calories I'm having or for me getting drunk! God knows how many times I've drunkenly slurred to people behind the bar that it's their fault I'm drunk! In fact, I once told the landlord it would be entirely his fault when I threw up cos he was plying me with jagerbombs he told me to quit whinging and get on with it cos I could still walk so wasn't drunk enough god knows how I got a job!

I have a couple friends acting like this also. It seems they do it on purpose (maybe it's subconsciously) because they don't want you to lose weight so then they would feel that THEY need to lose too. Maybe they feel guilty because they know they are living unhealthily. Maybe they are just plain jealous! Sometimes they will even try to tell you every reason why the diet you're on is bad.

Yes, it is always the person's fault serving the drinks.

Wobbs did it to me last night I've been really good for the last couple of weeks and she decides she wants a KFC

...got hers with all the intentions on getting a salad or something... I caved Can't say I even enjoyed it that much... the vodka and coke afterwards didn't help much either LMAO

It's impossible to eat healthily when there's takeaway in the house I had a reasonably healthy tea the other night and then OH announced he was going to the chinese! So obvs I had to have spring rolls and prawn crackers

When I was really strict for two months at the beginning of the year, nothing at ALL derailed me. My husband are the most delicious smelling takeaways in front of me, we went out for meals with the in-laws and I stuck to 400 calorie dishes, I even turned down dessert and asked for water at my in-laws house even though they thought I was weird!

And then I went off track and still haven't got back. I use any excuse these days, if something is offered to me then I just eat it as I don't want to miss out. My efforts are so easily sabotaged these days!

My OH is a bit like this sometimes! If i dont want something for tea that i know i shouldnt jave he'l be like "oh one night wont hurt" which drives me mad!
