I didn't start dry January as such but because I drank so much over Christmas I decided 4 weeks (4 weekends worth).

Anyone else have an alcohol free goal (not necessarily because it's 'dry January').

I didn't have a drink on the weekend although I was tempted and although it felt good I can't see it lasting

I’ve not so much as set a goal for not drinking, but I did avoid drinking this week because I didn’t feel the need to. I almost opened a bottle of wine, but that was more because I felt I should as it was the weekend. Can’t say I felt any different for it, but at least it wasn’t needless drinking

Good luck with dry January

I am also trying to have less this month. I have no wine in the house now so if I don't buy it I won't drink it. We had no wine over the weekend.

It's tougher than it sounds.
