I'll be all packed and tucked up in bed ready to.set off.tomorrow to Portugal!!

Wondering how much I can lose in that time but it also occured to mei will probably then gain while on hol we walk loads and dont really eat out all that much and our meals are generally salads etc so might not be that bad. The alcohol will probs do more damage!

How much would you expect to gain if you went away? I'm nervous

Eep I'm so jealous! I gained about 5lb when I went away I was eating a big breakfast, cooked lunch, pizza and chips about 3.30 and then a huge tea though!

I always get "bunged up" on holiday too, so when I got home and everything settled down, the weight came off quite quickly x

Ooh whereabouts are you going? We've been to Albufeira twice and loved it. We always went in late August or September and it didn't seem very crowded then. I think all the walking and activity (lots of steep hills) will keep the pounds off! Have a lovely time!

My parents used to live in Albufeira It is really nice over there.

I would probably be silly and starve myself for the next three weeks and then pile it back on while on holiday

We're going to Albufeira! Oh's parents own a villa over there that they let out so it's a freebie - the only reason we can afford to go We go every year and stay about 10/15min walk to the old town, we love it!!

haha I was almost considering the SC, but I just don't QUITE have that amount of self control trying to drink plenty water for the next few weeks, had a couple of bad carby days yesterday & today but going the gym tonight and gonna smash it *i hope* haha!

I honestly expected a stone! We were all inclusive and I just ate and ate and drank and drank! I dont normally drink pop, but was constantly either drinking pop or alcohol!

We're talking about booking our next holiday, I quite fancy Portugal, but OH wasn't keen when he went. So we're thinking turkey!

All inclusive would be awful for me, i'd have no self control!

I know when I've been away before i've lost weight but that was when i was at my biggest so didnt do any gym etc so was bound to lose some!

I bet it won't be as bad as you expect, cos you'll be walking about and stuff! My OH had absolutely no self control with the all inclusive, he always had seconds on every course of every meal

When away weekends I've gone from sensible to naughty rather than just staying on naughty constantly and it worked I've been around maintain all summer nearly
