Fireplace or no fireplace?
Which do you prefer in your home?
Have you got a fireplace you wish you could take out or don't have one and miss having one?
We bought a new one then decided against it so now don't have one fitted in at all... I really miss the homely feel of a fireplace so can't decide if I want to have it put in or not. where it would go we have a long TV unit and well a pretty large flat screen. Hmmmmm!

I love fireplaces. We don't have a fitted one, we have an electric one. We never use it but I think it looks nice and homely

That sounds fab! I'd love one of those, but I'm always way too hot, so it'd probably not get much use!

I love fireplaces, although I hate ours! It's bloody awful and we can't actually have a fire in it! I love White/cream ones, ours is dark wood with black surrounds and looks even worse cos it's piled up with DVDs!

We have oneof those anchient gas wall fires, but we covered it with a radiator cover and never use it, i think it draws focus in your room tho, especially with a mirror above it

Our telly's above ours. And OH didn't concentrate properly when he put it up so it's pissed! People always comment on it when they come in!

I remember the coal burning fireplace in my childhood home with fond memories although, because we didn't have central heating, that was the only place in the house where you could keep warm. We don't have one now and I can't say that I miss it!
