I'm melting!!
It's too chuffing hot!! I'm wandering round in my bikini! We've been stuck in most the day cos it's too hot for the kids out, my usually cool house is boiling, we can't have fans cos the small one would be sticking her fingers and anything else she could find in!
I'm well grumpy! I love the sun, but I need to escape the heat at least temporarily!

Bedtimes are a nightmare in the heat! Apparently tomorrow's meant to be even hotter than today I ended up habing a proper meltdown before cos it had all got too much for me, was crying and everything it's just a nightmare trying to keep the kids cool, my youngest one doesn't stop moving and I'm so paranoid about her overheating! I think tomorrow I'm gona put the pool up and erect some kinda tent over it or something! Praying it cools down before the holidays start!

A gazebo maybe? If you've not got one do you know someone you can borrow it from? That's all I can think of to make some shade

I think I'm gona peg a bedsheet between the two washing lines! Or I could attempt to put the tent up

Ooh bed sheet is a good idea! If that works its better than fiddling around with a tent

Evenings are just the worst at the moment, aren't they! It was 28 degrees in our room last night. Too hot!

I had a cool bath before bed last night which helped! Think I might have to give my LL a call though, the temperature dial on our shower's never worked, but cos I like hot showers it's never really been an issue. In this weather though it's just throwing out boiling water! I couldn't even stand under it this morning!
Our house is usually really cool cos it doesn't get the sun til the evening - it's mid terrace so it hits the other houses first, but cos it's not cooled down at all it's just boiling!

We have a gazebo over the patio, we'd never last 5 minutes out in the garden without it. We have one with a couple of sides, and I love it. A little haven lol
