Music While Exercising?
What music do you like to listen to while exercising?
I have a set "gym" playlist of stuff that gets me motivated, or sometimes I plug into the machines and just listen to 1xtra.

I've just been listening to the o2 tracks but mostly when on the treadmill, bike or cross trainer I use the gyms built in channels which either tunes into what is on one of the TVs or some music channels. Oddly enough the music that is on in the background of the gym is usually good enough, top charts etc from sky music channels but I still prefer sticking the headphones in and listening to it ... I find I zone out and get stuck into whatever I'm doing this way!

I have a 'gym' playlist on my iPhone/iPod. I do like fast tempo, it keeps me moving!

At the moment all I play is my fave band - Walk Off The Earth. They get me going enough to spend 15mins on the rower, so the rest is a doddle with them blasting in my ears lol!
Sometimes I do stick the music channels on the machines though, but my gym doesn't have many channels. I find I get too distracted if I just listen to the music they're blasting out.

I used to watch the tv when I went to the gym. I used to work out for ages and not realise!

I agree the TVs are a good distraction! Annoying though when you change machines and you're getting tangled in your headphones moving to the next machine, dying to find out what happens next on the TV show lol!
