It's Fridaaaaaaaay!!

What are your plans for the weekend?
My husband is off for a week when he would have been on nights. I hate nights so I'm super happy about that!

We are hoping to go strawberry picking at some point, visit my grandparents, go to the park, paint the garden fences, do more gardening etc. Hopefully the weather will be good!

Hope you all have a great weekend

I'm crossing my fingers that they've got the weather wrong for the weekend and this sun carries on til at least sunday evening

I have garden fence to paint too Other than that I have absolutely nothing planned. It a depends on the weather. Maybe take the kids to the park. Have a BBQ? It's sunny today and sunny on Sunday so maybe it'll skip the rain on sat

What does he do on nights? I did nights a few years ago and hated it.

He is a warehouse worker and drives forklift trucks etc. He does nights every three weeks and it's so hard as I have to keep a noisy toddler quiet so he can sleep!

We might have a BBQ too! It's forecast rain here for tomorrow but I hope theyve got it wrong!

My husband is off work today too, actually he took the next three Fridays off which is just nuts! I have no idea what we are getting into but tonight we are having our 2nd family taco night without his mother and step-dad, they are both sick so in a few hours I need to start getting the chicken moving along in the crock-pot. After that - anything goes!

I'll probably end up in the pub tonight got to do the food shop first, we didn't do one last week as we were both busy all weekend and even old mother Hubbard would be depressed by the state of our cupboards

We're both working tomorrow, OHs working Sunday too, so I might just get the paddling pool out.

We've got sun forecast until at least tues and it's not due to go under 19 it's just clouded over now though!

We've had a nice family weekend in the sun, at home mostly but still fun!

Yesterday we went to the school fair then home and the kids enjoyed the pool, some BBQ sausages and other goodies if bought them then today Father's Day it was cooker outside but the girls helped me make Daddy a late breakfast then off outside they went while I have downstairs a good clean and got the roar dinner going. Evening ended with cake and a movie!
