The pain's not actually too bad today, only if I move it suddenly or past certain angles! I've spent the day at my mums and just chilled out. I may have pushed myself a little too far as I was so bored I insisted on doing the school run and then went to the shop after both are only a 2 minute walk each way, but took ages! It was bloody good exercise though!
In good news, I can take very tentative steps on it if I'm supported by my crutches I'm definitely not going to push it, but it's a step in the right direction considering yesterday I couldn't even move it or sit down properly!

Oh, no! Definitely don't push it. Maybe it will heal itself in a much shorter time than you originally thought it you stay off of it like you've been doing. Sorry you're going through this.

Sounds like good progress so hopeful with some slow encouragement no pushing yourself it isn't going to be the worst case Hun.
I remember pulling something in my back randomly one day just going to sit down, pain was excruciating I too couldn't sit stand etc and after a few days it was all good. Was very strange and a hospital trip didn't diagnose the problem either. I know different areas but fingers crossed same recovery x

I can walk although only like the few steps to the bathroom in the night and stuff! I'm still using the crutches for anything more than that though, cos my leg feels really weak and I'm very conscious that if I do too much I could go right back to the beginning again.
So gentle exercise on it every now and again and apart from that I'm resting it still! I'm *desperate* to start exercising again! In the time since I did it, bearing in mind I'd been on a long run so will have burned calories thru that, I've gained 4lbs not seen the scales go over 9st in a long time! I'm guessing it's water weight too, but still!

So sorry to hear that you've been in the wars! I know that you have to be really careful when you do any form of exercise like this. I had so many injuries when I was trying to get fir to go in the Navy years ago. At least it sounds as though it's healing and you can do some gentle exercise, so you won't seize up completely. Good luck!

I'm not doing too bad ta, although I was really silly at work this morning and didn't rest I could walk crutch free when I woke up and by lunch time couldn't even put weight on it even though I'd been using crutches so I spent most the afternoon sitting down and it's not too bad now!
It's made me realise how long it's going to take to fix though, I'd kind of assumed the crutches would be gone by Monday, but there's no chance
Got the kids home for the first time since I did it and my god it's hard work and they won't sleep!

Are you taking anything like ibuprofen for the inflammation and pain? You could also try alternating heat and ice on it. The heat brings blood to the area to promote healing and the ice helps to reduce any inflammation that you may have. Has the doctor looked at it? I worry that you may have a hairline fracture or something.
