Anyone else watching Supersize V Superskinny?

Is anyone watching the new series of Supersize V Superskinny? I love this show and have watched it for a few years now.

Just watched the first episode of this series. There was a man who hardly ate but would drink 25 cups of tea a day with FIVE spoons of sugar in each one!

It's a shocking programme but does make me hungry when I see the things the supersizers eat!

I love it! It does always make me super hungry though! I always feel really sorry for both people during the diet swap, the superskinnies must feel so bloated and uncomfortable and the supersizers must literally feel starving! And probably have cracking headaches from withdrawals of all sorts! The diet swaps are a lot shorter now aren't they? I'm sure it used to be a week!

I've watched this from time to time, but don't really like it. It's a shocking demonstration of why the person is so overweight or underweight but I don't think it really achieves much other than making the person feel awful for a week.

Yes I noticed that they were a lot shorter. Maybe the people were struggling too much.

Yes I think they use the extremes on each side of the scale. I do think that the 'superskinnies' tend to suffer a lot at the diet swap as they're so used to eating nothing and then they're faced with huge plates of food that even someone with a big appetite would struggle with. It must be very hard.

It's just channel 4 through and through though, sensationalising and preying on other people's misery although quite a few of their programmes are my guilty pleasure

When they do the revisited ones, I think people do tend to have changed their lives around, although they probably could have done with the right support anyway. Still, it's better than embarrassing bodies and benefit street

Goodness yes, channel four is so renowned for sensationalising. They always choose the most sensational and controversial scenes in any show they do. Benefits Street and People Like Us were really bad for it!

Wow, I have not seen it but it sounds pretty ridiculous! I don't think I would want to watch it in the first place. I guess that's what it takes to get people to watch TV today.
