Read any good books lately?

I've been trying to read again as a way to get my mind off of food when I'm not really hungry. I'm working my way through a book right now but I'm not really all that into it. Have you read any good books lately and if so, what are they? What would you recommend?

I haven't done any reading lately, but I have read some pretty memorable books. One of my all-time favorites is Shogun by James Clavell. Another that I like is The Godfather by Mario Puzo. If you're into series as opposed to stand-alones, The Game of Thrones books are really good.

I ordered the box set Hunger Games Trilogy end of last week, really looking forward to reading them.

I'm not really a book reader but have 'Why men lie and women cry' .. that I keep meaning to read, it's meant to be hilarious.

Tinks, please let me know once you have read them how you liked them! I keep hearing about this series and I keep going back and forth about buying the books.

MandaBear, it's a really good trilogy, but it is super dark. The last book left me in tears.

I read quite a bit. What are your tastes like, ChunkyBoots? Mine are all over the place. A friend recently recommended Holly Black's new book to me (The Coldest Girl in Cold Town). I didn't want to like it because I'm sick of vampires, but it was actually really good.

Another book that I loved was a Christmas gift--Ally Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half is hilarious! Best gift I received.
