For me today truly is the start of the new year. I'm guessing it's the same for anyone with kids back at school this week Head back on work too. Was just clearing the back-log at work last week so was pretty much in zombie mode

Anyone else getting back to normal today?

We were back to normal yesterday! It felt so good! Although the getting everyone out the house for 8.40 wasn't much fun it's great though, peace and quiet for me to catch up on my housework (come on here), no constant picking up trails of toys!

I did have a total fail moment yesterday though, somehow in the 2 weeks off I forgot what time my small one finished and was late to get her

We were back to normal on New Year's Day as my husband went back to work on nights. I hate the feeling of returning to reality after we've all had such a great time

Normal isn't the right word but certainly trying ... my new year away included too much alcohol and the flu #meh! Hoping for a better day tomorrow!

I was back to work yesterday and it felt great

We are just now getting back to normal around here, too. Yesterday the hubby went back to work so it was my first day since about Christmas Eve or so that's felt regular again. Now if I could just get this holiday weight off...

Things are still not back to normal around here because of inclement weather. It's been so cold and windy that, with the risk of rain coming in, schools have decided to close for the early part of the week. Just the sheer low temps themselves are out of the normal -- allegedly it was colder here last night than at the North Pole!

I went back to work on January 2nd. The whole week was horrible. The kids went back to school on January 6th. Well they went for one day and then had a snow day on the 7th. Things are slowly getting back to normal for us.

Am I the only one that hasn't got the hang of this new year yet
