65 degrees and almost Christmas

Our weather the last few days are unheard of. Last week we got dumped on with snow. We had over 16 inches in the yard. Right now it's just a big muddy mess. It has been in the 50's and now 60 today!

That is much better than what we are dealing with. For the weekend we have seen nothing but rain and winds, by the middle of the week we will have an ice storm.

At The moment it's not too cold here, but we're having a lot of rain and winds. I think that today is going to be a particularly bad day for winds. And I just got soaked attempting to take my daughter to the park

Ice storms are the pits! Places less than 30 minutes from us are experiencing that right now. It's odd how the weather can be so different when we are so close. Be careful and I hope you have everything you need for a few days (in case you get iced in).

We had some crazy weather right before Christmas, too. At one point over last weekend, we actually had temps pushing 80! We thought we were going to have to run the air on Christmas day, but then we had a cold snap and for the last several days, it's been very cold and windy.

It's warm here, but then it's almost always warm. We got down into the 60s for a high a few days ago.

Aboutme, that is a crazy temperature swing.

Well on Christmas Eve it snowed so we ended up having a white Christmas after all. I am super glad! I don't like it when there is no snow. It's still snowing today too. I think we will be able to go sledding soon.
