How do you feel about cooking?

It inspires me so much to walk into a store and think of all of the possible things I could make. It also overwhelms me a little sometimes. I am trying to concentrate on learning to make healthy foods that also taste great, so I don't feel deprived. How do you feel about it?

I love cooking, but rarely get the chance to cook much now! I need to dig out my slow cooker so I can prep things in the morning, it's jist so hard to cook proper meals with small people around!

I love cooking and there are so many recipes I'd love to try but I often like simple and healthy over 1/2 teaspoon of 10 spices etc lol

I really don't enjoy cooking at all but it's a case of having to do it! I think a lot of it's due to lack of time with having an energetic toddler so I never really get chance to experiment or make anything out of the ordinary!

This is so true. I found that batch cooking helped me SO much when the kids were little. It doesn't take that much extra time or effort to make a double or triple batch of most things, and then I would package and freeze them for future nights when things were extra crazy. I really need to start doing that again!

I have always loved to cook but it isn't fun for me unless I am actually cooking for other people. When it's only for myself, I am more liable to just throw any old thing together and get it over with.

There are really times when I love it and times when I hate it. I do not mind the shopping since I plan my trips around the smallest traffic time with the stores (never on Sunday after church that is the worst time). Tonight we are having our family meal which means I do not have to do everything and it is nice.

I don’t know what it is lately, but I have not been in a mood to cook at all! Very strange for a person who used to love it as much as I did. I’m hoping to shake it soon.
