Changing the clocks

I think Daylight Saving Time is a silly thing that we should have stopped doing years ago. We aren't farmers. One hour of extra light in the warm months isn't going to make much difference and I HATE that it stays light out until so late in the evening.

Well, luckily most of my clocks here are easy to reset. What a hassle.

I agree TwylaDee! I do think there's something about saving energy in the whole scheme of things with daylight savings time. "Falling back" is not so bad but "springing forward" is tough. I'm sleepy for days trying to get used to losing that hour in the spring.

Clocks changing really puts me off track, it's when they go forward it drives me mad!

It doesn't bother me too much, it's changing the actual clocks that is worst for me, quite often they're still at the wrong time when they're due to change again

Daylight savings time messes me up, too. I'm the opposite, though--"falling back" is what I struggle with. It usually takes me a week to cheer myself up and adjust to change in light.

I agree that we should just leave the clock alone. I understand why we needed DST to begin with, but it doesn't really seem necessary anymore.

It always takes me a while to get used to it and the days feel so long after the clocks have gone back recently as it feels so much later than it is due to the darkness. It is quite an outdated thing to do these days I guess
