Probably doing it wrong.....

I have been using the SW site via the app on my phone but I can not seem to find the list of HE A & B.
I can find where it almost helps but it doesn't inform me of the amounts of anything I can have....

The best place to find a list of what you can have as your A or B choice is under the Food Diary part.
But to be honest that doesn't always show EVERY single item that can be used, such as some branded items.
I always look the Food Search section. If the HE symbol appears, then it's a Hex choice

Does that make sense?

Does it show the amounts?

Yes it should do.
If you use the food search option on the app, you should see something like this

Back in the day when everything was done in books it used to have a list of the HEX and quantities which made it sooooo simple to understand. I am old skool and need to see things written down. Maybe I am not reading it right. Idk.

They are still listed in the books, but if you're an online member only you don't get those.
The website should list quantities next to everything. And it will list them on the Weight Loss Planner section to where you log your food

This means that I can have 50g of Sainsbury's All bran for breakfast and it is a HEX and is not counted in my syns?

Correct
Obviously if you've already used your B choice then you'd syn it, but if not, B choice it
