Hi everyone,
I had an Asda delivery and they substituted my usual Mackerel for a different flavoured one. I'm sure it is going to be synned so can anyone tell me the value?
If I do decide to eat it I will not be having it with the yoghurt dressing. Link and ingredients below
The Funky Fish Kitchen 2 Smoked Mackerel Fillets
In a Brazilian glaze with a yoghurt, lime & mint dressing. Includes sachet of sauce
https://groceries.asda.com/product/c...s/910002474133
Ingredients
Mackerel (Scomber Scombrus) (Fish) (82%) , Greek Style Yoghurt (5%) [Skimmed Milk, Whipping Cream (Milk), Dried Skimmed Milk, Dried Milk Protein] , Demerara Sugar , Water , Rapeseed Oil , Salt , Lime Juice , Pasteurised Free Range Egg Yolk , Desiccated Coconut , Green Bell Peppers , Dried Kibbled Red Onion , Cornflour , White Wine Vinegar , Red Bell Peppers , Mint , Garlic Powder , Ground Cumin , Lemon Juice Powder , Chilli Flakes .
According to the syns calculator, if you count the Mackerel as the free food, it's 2.5 syns per serving.
But as it's smoked mackerel, that is usually 2.5 syns per 100g for smoked flavoured Mackerel.
I would consider counting 5 syns per serving.
