Q about Healthy extras

Hey when your counting ur syns do u add in ur healthy a&b's. Eg ryvita and laughing cow light cheese..
Or
In the morning having 35g of porridge den in the afternoon Aving the ryvita and cheese

I'm gettin kinda confused 😁 Tia

Your healthy extra choices are seperate to your syn count.

For example, if you have 35g porridge with 250ml semi-skimmed milk in the morning, those are both your A & B choices.

If you then later in the day have cheese, or ryvita, or something else from the healthy extra lists, you will need to count them within your syns.

Does that make it any clearer??

It can be confusing, especially at first, but you will get used to it

No problem

It can take a couple of weeks to fully get your head around it, but you'll get there

Hi. I'm just starting on SW and this is an area I'm confused about. So are you saying that your initial A and B choices are classed as syn-free but after that you have to count as Syns? I'm just thinking that I usually have cereal for breakfast and sandwich at lunch, so my breakfast cereal would be 'free' but I'd need to count the bread on my sandwich as Syns?.

That's exactly right Linda
You get the measured amounts for your A & B choice, and then any other a or b choices after that need to be synned
