Lol I've never tried them so I'm going to make some. Do I just spray them with fry light? I only have one can left from the last time I visited Wales - am I right in thinking I can make my own with half sunflower oil and half water?

Kale crisps are lovely. I just spray mine and sprinkle with a bit of salt and pop in a hot oven. I'm not sure about making your own frylight though.

I do the same as Ali with the Kale
And I'm not sure about making your own frylight... You need someone to send you a care package of frylight and pittas and wraps

Yes I could do with a red cross parcel. Well, by the time I got up today my OH had chopped n frozen all the kale so no crisps for me today. Another thing we can't get here is sausages as we know them - they all have some horrible herb ib them - so I bought some sausagemeat, rolled them up and voila - sausages! Any idea what the syns would be for sausagemeat? Had a lovely meal tonight - mozzarella stuffed meatballs in tomato sauce in the slow cooker, followed by cherry crumble (oh dear) - probably used 3 days' worth of syns but it was lovely xxx Oh the frylight discussion is on minimins - 1 part oil to 7 parts water apparently - might try it when I've run out! x

Pork sausage meat is 7 syns per 100g
And it's always worth a try with the homemade fry light, you never know until you try it!

Thank you sarahc - that's not bad at all! My OH loves these sausages - why did it take me 3 years to work out that it's called sausagemeat for a reason?! Well my first week over and I just weighed myself - lost 5 and a quarter pounds - yay! Just been trying to explain the science of SW to my OH - he's impressed. Made mushy peas yesterday - delish - I am a goddess! x

Thank you so much for your encouragement ladies! I'm having a green day tomorrow as I'm dying to try the mushy pea curry. On minimins someone added a coconut mullerlight to it - can't get mullerlight (I buy Lidl's Linessa 0.1% fat ones) but I do have coconut milk and cream. Any idea what the syns for that would be? Is it OK to still ask questions on this forum - I have strayed completely off rice on a red day!!!

Is the coconut milk any particular brand?
The cream would be 3.5 syns per tbsp of double cream, 1.5 syns per tbsp of single cream
