Mayflower Chinese Curry Sauce Mix

Just been trying to find out how many Syns are in Mayflower Chinese Curry Sauce Mix (Medium & Extra Hot). It seems to have changed over the years, so thought I'd post and up-to-date Syn count

23g dry powder made up to 100ml = 4 Syns.

Hope that helps someone else

I've heard so much about this sauce , desperate to try it. I've asked friend who lives near a B&M to get me some. I did look on line but the price is way more expensive. Hoping to have it on Monday.

I'm addicted to it at the minute. its a proper curry. I thought it was 28g per 100ml of water though? sorry if I'm wrong.

either way it is so worth it, I do 85g (which I thought was 12syns total =7syns each) for me and my husband as there is plenty x

I have just finished a yummy bowl of this with chicken, peas and a small jacket potato. Absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend it. It's really thick and tastes just like a Chinese curry, I believe that lots of Chinese restaurants/take always use this!

Mmmmm I want more now! Haha

This is one of the most amazing things I've had, only discovered it a month or so ago. I discovered it because the Slimming World curry sauce I made was a disaster (I think it's just the recipe, not me! Way too much tomato, and very little curry spices to pass as a curry sauce). I do Slimming World chips and dip them in a serving of this (4 syns), beautiful!

Jacobs, that's what I do too.

From Syns online:

Mayflower Curry Sauce Mix, Medium/Extra Hot, Chinese Style, 255g pack (9 portion), made up with water (per portion) - 4 syns

255g/9 = 28.33g

It basically tastes like a takeaway Chinese Curry. Maybe even a bit better as you decide how thick/runny it is. It's like having a 'cheat' tea without actually having one.
