Well that was expected really. 1lb gain. can't pretend I'm not gutted, but I stayed on plan as much as I could actually eat with the wisdom tooth - so it has to be the anti-biotics, which finish tomorrow and hopefully my jaw will relax and all sorted.

Sticking to plan and hoping for a loss next week.

Sorry to hear about the gains guys, but at least they were expected and you know how to get those little bugger pounds off :P

I'm over the moon tonight after last week's gain. 5lbs off! My biggest loss since my first week 10 months ago I've been really focussed, and making small changes such as reducing portion sizes slightly (having a chicken leg and thigh instead of 1 leg and 2 thighs, or having one less potato for SW chips) and focusing a little more on speed. Got my 5 and a half stone award tonight! This is just what I needed after last week

FANTASTIC! Well done Matt - really pleased for you especially as you've done so very well and were feeling low last week. 5 and a half stone is AMAZING! Truly inspiring stuff. Well done tweaking portion sizes, hope they suit you and lead to further losses and getting to your goal.. not far now!

Only minor gains, ladies....you'll soon get that off again.

Well done, Matt, on your 5lb loss, and your amazing award! Glad you stuck to plan despite feeling a bit rubbish about last week's blip.

Well, tonight I lost 1.5lb. Happy with that for the first week of the holidays.

However, this week will be a challenge, as it is my 40th birthday on Monday. Having a party this Friday, and then off to Scotland on holiday for a week.

Still going to 'Weigh In' at a group in Scotland though, so that should help keep me focussed.

Wishing everyone a great week x x x

Thanks!

Yes....as SW members you can weigh in at any other SW group. This will be the third time I've weighed in at the Scotland group...once last summer when we were on holiday, and again this February when I was up visiting relatives.

It also means I don't have to book a holiday, or waste a week of my 12 week countdown. And yes...it will definitely make me more accountable for my actions!

Aw thanks for all the support guys!

It's one of those things people often shrug their shoulders at, but I honestly find water helps so much. I've eaten huge plates of food before and still not felt full, drank a cup of water after and felt stuffed. As I'd rather it be the food that's satisfying than the water, I usually drink about 300ml of squash/water before I eat, and have a drink during the meal too, so I'm also getting around the recommended 2 litres of water a day.
