Thanks PurpleJ! Definitely doing my best, just can't take another knock back next week. It wouldn't throw me off plan, but would really get me down.

That said, I've decided to alternate days this week where I eat less and focus a bit more on getting that speed food in. I don't eat extortionate amounts, but do probably eat more than I need to to satisfy my appetite (e.g. an extra potato worth of SW chips).

So far today, I've eaten x4 Ryvita (HE B) with a banana and Greek style lemon Mullerlight for breakfast (a very late one :P ), and about an hour ago I had beef in black bean sauce with garlic and lemon cauliflower rice. Later on (my sleeping is very messed up right now aha) I'll have a BBQ chicken leg and thigh (I'd usually have a couple of thighs) and SW chips with an apple beforehand.

I still count bananas as a third from when it used to be called "superfree". If it was good enough for SW before, it's good enough for me now, and it won't be a banana a day making me gain weight :P

I was in a shop the other day and saw a lady I knew to speak to from when we took our little ones to 'play groups' a couple of years ago. I smiled at her, and she smiled back. It was only when I referred to her child by name, that she looked at me again, and went, "Oh...I know you, don't I? Have you lost loads of weight? I didn't recognise you at first!"

That made me realise just how much I have changed in the last year. I find it hard to get my head round it...as in my mind, I'm still the same old 'big girl' that I have always been. Like some of you, I haven't been the size I am currently (size 16ish) since I was probably a teenager! I'll be 40 in a couple of weeks!

People keep asking me what my target is, and I honestly have no idea! I can't remember ever being 'slim' so don't know what weight will be my target weight. I'm just hoping that when I get there, I'll just go, "Yep....that'll do!"

Good luck Matt, I don't know the old plan and don't eat meat but would say to diary everything you eat, and watch sauces / coating on things. I'm sure you'll do great going back to basics, and keep positive mind set, you could have let this floor you but you're bouncing back.

Looby - how wonderful to meet someone who noticed and hardly recognised you! Shows how very far you've come. 40 is a great age, I found it much more relaxed than 30 was.. lol I hated turning 30 for some reason. I'm 43 now. I think targets are funny ground, it's great that SW let us set our targets rather than the WW way of using your bmi. That is incredibly low and I don't think I'd want to be that small to be honest. I've always had a thing for strength, horse riding, competed as a power lifter and am learning tai chi and a bit of kickboxing now and then. I would hate to be around 7 stone or something. So for me I think around 10 stone is my true ideal weight. That'll be tough going though. 11 stone I've been before but not been 10 stone sine my teens.

How tall are you, PurpleJ?

I'm 5'4", so the middle of my 'healthy' BMI is about 9 stone 6lb. I think I'd look ill at that weight, so I'm kind of thinking I'll head for 12 and a half stone and see how I feel, then choose to either stick or try 12 stone or 11 and a half stone.

I'm 5'2" - 11 stone is my initial goal, but I'd ideally like to be around 10stone as would like to be around a size 12. Will see how it looks when I get to 11 stone though. lol I was there 3 years ago so am looking forward to getting back there. It'll take time though.

Some great losses this past couple of weeks. Matt I'm sure it will even out and you will have a loss this time around. Please keep your chin up.

I couldn't make this week's weigh in as I wasn't steady enough to drive. Weight at home has been pretty stable though. Having to eat iron rich foods. Do you think they're heavier than normal foods???

hope you feel better to drive soon milly but well done on the steady scales - better than a gain! Iron rich foods I'm sure weigh as much as normal but you get more from them. Look after yourself.

I must admit I'm off to the dentist today due to pain the last two days and wondering if anti-biotics will make me gain if they give them. the things we worry over. lol

Good luck to you all. I'm not weighing tonight as I'm visiting family but will be weighing with my mum tomorrow at her SW group... feeling pretty nervous as it's a morning weigh in and people I don't know. It's like starting all over again!

Well I made it in this week. I wanted a bar to set before my holiday. I've put on 1lb but with everything I've had to take I'm pleased it's only that!

Also this week I decided to wear jeans and t-shirt rather than summer wear. I know they weigh exactly 2 lb and I know I will be wearing jeans more often in the autumn and winter so I am over that heavier clothes hurdle now!!

Next weigh in in September! Let's see how much damage I can limit while away!!
