Well done on the losses PurpleJ and Matt.

Well I lost 1.5lb this week, leaving me just half a pound away from my 7 stone award...why is that I'm always half a pound away when it comes to getting my next awards?

I am rather chuffed to say that my group voted me their 'Woman of the Year' tonight!

Let's hope so PurpleJ!

Aw well done on winning Looby!

Almost 7 stone is amazing I also know the pain of being half a pound away, aha. At least usually you know it's very likely you'll get it the next week so there's less uncertainty, aha.

Gaaaah, after weigh in, I always start to count down to the next one! I wish I didn't wish the time by, but I do!

Good luck everyone for today. I feel like I've had a good week so keeping everything crossed the scales show it!

Matt I think that is true focus.. we're looking to the next weigh in as a way of keeping on track - I do it too. And I weigh on my home scales too - I shouldn't and try not to but it has always kept me focused in the past and whenever I ignore them I seem to gain. lol

Weighing in tonight at 7.30pm and staying to group so won't be back till around 9pm but hoping to lose 2.5lb to get into the 15 stone range.. will be great to know I'm two stone zones down when I hit it.

I got a NSV of size 18 jeans and trousers too - I bought 22 in June for work and they're loose now but didn't realise by how much! felt good and hubby has been drumming it into me that he could see the difference.. I obviously can't! lol but dress size speaks for itself so that's nice.

I hear you about weighing at home too, aha. When I was at uni my housemate had scales so I'd weigh myself after bad nights/mid-way through the week. Honestly though, it didn't really help, as sometimes I'd be the same/more mid-way through the week for whatever reason, but actually lose come official WI day.

Luckily, my parents don't have scales at home, so as I'm with them over Summer, they can't upset me in the week :P

Ahh good luck! New stone zones are always exciting! I get my full stone awards, then 2.5lbs later get into a new stone zone which is nice. Then it tends to drag a bit :P

Aw well done on the new clothes sizes I still look in the mirror now and say some variant of "For god's sake", it's the curse of a slimmer's mind :P

You've done so well it's inspiring to hear you saying about the 'drag' bit.. lol I'm 5.5lb away from stone and a half award, so think this is why the next stone down has appealed to me so much.. also saying to myself I'm 15 stone something, not 17 stone something will be a great feeling. My Club 10 is 15st 7 lb not too far after my stone and a half so that'll be a good next step.

I'll bet you get amazing feedback on your loss when you go back to uni, and will feel amazing in your graduation pics too - well done! it's not easy when people around you are not on plan /drinking etc. You are of course right about the curse of a slimmers mind. I remember a particular picture of me 3 years ago in knee length denims and a vest top.. I was a size 14 and horrified by what I saw.. crazy when I look back at it now! I'd give anything to fit in them again, and will do one day - and know that I have achieved something. But in honesty I'm not sure when I'll be 'happy' at pictures of myself. I think a size 12 is a goal for the future as it's the slimmest I've been as an adult, and I guess maybe I'd be happy there.

Hopefully my mind somewhere along the line will be happy with my weight.

Can just confirm for you, getting into the 15s is a lovely feeling!

Well, I'm actually going to Japan for a year as part of my course in just under a month, so hopefully my coursemates and teachers will see a rather different me! Graduation isn't for another 2 years thankfully! :P

How did weigh in go?

I've been on plan all week, but this was still a shock to me! So happy!

3lbs off this week, taking me to 6 stone exactly lost!

FANTASTIC!
MASSIVE Congratulations!! 6 stone is truly amazing! Japan sounds very exciting and just remember... when you put that seatbelt on .. no extender or squeezing in a seat!! You'll have a fab time I'm sure - very jealous! What course are you doing?

Well... I too came home with stickers and certificates... three of each! I'm amazed to say lost 5.5lb!! Taking me to exactly 1 and a half stone - slimmer of the week and of the month!!

Considering I had 4 weeks of medication, locked jaw, and lost a week as was in hospital for operation - 11lb lost this month shocked me!

Oh and I'm officially 15 stone something - 15st 10 and a half lbs!!
