Hi all, I literally just joined slimming-world and I've been told potatoes are syn free if they are oven cooked or boiled? And that you can eat as many as you like? A little confused by this and wondered if it's accurate

This is one of the reasons I'm not the biggest fan of Slimming World.

It's free yes or was as I am not sure on their new rules if they have any but in my option use common sense on how much, do your portions right and try not to carb overload on every meal. I'd never lose weight having high carbs brekkie, lunch and tea, in fact that's why I got fat

Moderation is key. You will know what that is also based on your life style.

Going by the book I have (from 2015) they are. But as Wobbles says, common sense lets you know!

Whatever variety you choose, potatoes are free foods on the Slimming World plan, including new potatoes, jacket potatoes, roast potatoes, and mashed potatoes. Also, cost-free is sweet potatoes.
