Would a pot of soup made with veg and lentils be a SP choice?
I don't really like meat in soup. I sometimes add a bit of cooked chicken because that cooks right down. I thought for protein lentils would make a change.
I keep used pots of marmite where there is a tiny bit at the bottom of the jar and add hot water and stir up and add to soup to give it a beefy taste.

Hi Lindy,
One of my mainstays of my diet during my over 8 stone weight-loss time last year was veg soup. It is a great filler and really carried me through and still eat it now. And especially when I waver.
My recipe is simple: turnip (chopped into cubes), carrots and celery (sliced),
onions or leeks, sliced. Boiling water and salt and ground black pepper. No need for a stock cube.
And here's the thing ... I have made it for fellow slimmers and in one I served it as it was, in another partially blended ( took half veg out and blended rest and added unblended veg back in) and 3rd totally blended. Result was a tie. Some preferred the unadulterated version (like me) the rest came down one side or the other.
But the thing to take from this is deffo make veggie soup coz if really does help x ... and best of luck on your journey.
