First timer

My local slimming world isn't open till next Tuesday, so I've decided to start on my own until my first class...

I don't understand Hex A and Hex B and how to incorporate it into my SW plan.

I don't know if I'm just being incompetent but can someone please help 😂😂
Thanks 🤣

Welcome to social Slimmers

You aren't being incompetent at all! If you've not had someone explain the plan, it doesn't make much sense!
And in honesty, it can take a couple of weeks to get your head around it fully too.

Your healthy extra choices are what SW recommend you have each day. Your A choice is your dairy allowance, and your B choice is your fibre.

You are allowed measured amounts of these everyday, and if you go over that measured amount, you have to count Syns for it.

Examples of your A choices are:
350ml skimmed milk
250ml semi-skimmed Milk
30g full fat cheddar
40g reduced fat cheddar
70g reduced fat mozzarella
300ml 1% fat milk
1 litre unsweetened calcium-enriched plain almond drink
70g Philly light

B choices are:
45g bran flakes
2 nestle shredded wheat
2 weetabix
40g plain porridge oats (don't use the sachets unless they're the multigrain ones)
60g wholemeal bread
2 medium slices of wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf
1 slice wholemeal bread from an 800g loaf

I obviously can't list all of them, but you'll get a complete list when you start next week!

Any questions, ask away

Hi,

Hope the Healthy A and B are less confusing after Sarah's help.

I don't know if it helps but I used to find it difficult to stick to a Healthy A and B every day so tend to have them in the morning (Bran flakes with milk, 2 400g wholemeal toast) as it gets them out the way and you don't have to worry about it.

Best of Luck

:-)
