Hello,
I'm starting SW tomorrow, I joined online and I understand EE days but not red or green! Please can someone explain this to me? Thank you in advance!! X
Hi, welcome to social Slimmers!
If you've joined via the SW website, you won't need to understand red or green days. Red and green days were removed from the SW plan 2 years ago.
Red day's were focused on protein foods, like meats and fish, along with fruit & veg, but with a restricted amount of pasta, potatoes, rice, etc.
Green days were where you could eat pasta rice and potatoes (plus fruit & veg), but a restricted amount of meat and fish.
There are still a lot of people that follow then because they used to follow SW years ago, but if you are new to SW, stick with the EE plan
Best of luck on your journey! If you have any questions, ask away. There's plenty of us here that follow SW
Hope to see you around here

Awe thank you so much for clearing this up for me! I was wondering why I just couldn't find anything about it on their webpage lol thought I was being stupid! I am going to try my best to stick to it, I think red wine will be my downfall but I am going to try and save some syns so I can have some more at the weekends as I don't drink during the week. I'll 100% be back on here im sure xxxx
That sounds like a good plan
The one thing I will say is to make sure you have at least 5 Syns a day. You don't have to use all 15 everyday, but use 5 minimum as using them actually helps you lose weight. Avoiding them can reduce your losses

Does anyone know how much pasta you was allowed on red or green day
This took a while to find! I couldn’t dig out my old books (they’re somewhere, but who knows where!)
110g wholemeal pasta (35g dried weight)
That was a B choice on Red days.
Pasta was free on Green days
