Help!!

Hi ladies,

I am re-joining slimming world tomorrow but just need abit of advise for today as I don't have my books on me anymore so want to ensure I haven't gone to wrong already today:

So far I have had:

- 2 Weetabix for breakfast with 150ml of soya milk (sweetened) and a green tea
- 1 green apple
- 2 boiled eggs, spinach, 2 slices of halloumi and houmous for lunch.

I have a slimming world meal for dinner or jacket potato with beans. Is this ok or have I already used all my syns up?

Thank you

Hi Rachel, Welcome to the forum.

I can't give you any advice on the diet as I'm not doing SW myself but I'm sure someone will be posting to you very shortly as there are a lot of folks on here following that diet.
However, great to have you on board and all the very best with your journey to slimdom!

Hi Rachel Welcome to social slimmers!

I'll break down what you had yesterday, see if it helps
2 Weetabix - hex B choice
150ml sweetened soya milk - you get 250ml as your A choice, so you can either count that milk as your A choice, or use 4 syns for it.
Green tea - syn free
Green apple - speed food, so that's great
2 boiled eggs - protein food, great
Spinach - speed food, great!
Halloumi - 35g is your A choice, or 6 syns. I've no idea how much 2 slices would weigh, but if you've counted you soya milk as you A choice, I would count 6 syns for the halloumi to be safe.
Houmous - averages at 2.5 syns per level tbsp. the number of syns used obviously depends on how much you had, you'll have to judge that one

All SW Iceland meals are syn free I think, so that, with a jacket & beans should be perfectly fine! The only suggestion I would make is that you need to add a bit of speed food (veg) to your sinner, but otherwise it's great

Best of luck when you join back up! Let us know if you've got any questions

Good luck at your meeting! Let me know if you'd like a recipe for syn-free hummus, as I came up with one of my own and it definitely hit the spot
