Down and almost out😔😫

Evening Everyone,
Hope you have all had a fantastic week? I posted a couple of nights ago as was struggling with 'over synning' and was offered some great ideas for low syn snacking. Which is brilliant and I hope to get round to trying soon. My problem now is that I feel so down about not losing like I wanted to and am now (almost) ready to chuck it in. I dont really want to but feel like I am failing at every turn. I got home from work today and could literally cry😭
Does anyone else go through stages of feeling like this and is is worth having a week or so away from group to try and sort myself out? Sorry for the Moany post.
K xx

Don't apologise! I for one have moaned enough in my time here, trust me
I've had so many weeks like this I can't count them.
You could avoid going to group at all, or you could go, ask not to see or be told your WI details, and then go back home and not look at your book.
I've done this before and it really helped me to start fresh.
Also, try to sit and read through your book as if you were a new member and highlight your favourite foods.
Get back to basics and meal plan and batch cook to help try keep you on track.

You can do this, you've done great so far! Everyone has this issue at some point, but you can get past it x

Evening, honey. I know EXACTLY how you're feeling. In fact, I was in tears last Saturday going through what sounds like the same thing. My particular problem was that I'd been kidding myself that I'd been staying on plan and writing off way too many pizzas.

Sarah has given you some great advice up above, so I can only really echo what she has said. I'll also say that for me, setting "mini goals" has really helped. At my old group they always asked us how much we wanted to lose the following week, which didn't really work for me, so I took to just setting myself interim milestones (you can see them in my signature).

If you're enjoying your group, then follow your consultant's advice and stay to group. Lay it all out when she gets to you in the losses roster and get them to rally around, because I bet you won't be the only one there who has ever felt like this.

Now for some tough love: stop beating yourself up for not being where you want to be yet. The only way you're going to get anywhere with this is to be patient and kind with yourself. The beauty of the SW plan is that is really is a plan to change your eating lifestyle, not a diet. Habits are habits because they're difficult to break, and nothing worth doing is ever easy. Keep going with this, and you'll get the hang of it. It might take minor adjustments, or it might take big sweeping changes. But you CAN do it.

And hey, if you ever start feeling down, take a look at this:

Always makes me feel better ^_^

Yesterday was one of my worse days to date in regards to how I feel about myself and this journey I am on. I had my cry and a bit of chocolate and decided that today is a new day. So I woke up early headed to local icelands and bought some bacon and SW sausages. Came back and made a full English for me and my fella👍
Am headed out shortly with my sister and have packed some grapes and a bottle of water in case I get peckish when out👌 I will take this one day/ one meal at a time and prepare as much as possible. Thanks for your replies and kind words, it's nice to know I am not alone💖

Out of all the things you could have had, chicken shish isn't the worst. Any syns would probably have only been in the marinade or any skin on the chicken. Congratulations on your better day!
