hawaiian burger in mag

This recipe looks good but I'm going too make it veggie using Quorn bacon and burgers can I ask the 4 syns from the recipe is it from the pineapple ring?

Can you post a pic of the recipe? I've not got the mag handy to look at the ingredients list!

From looking at the recipe, yes the 4 syns would be from the pineapple.
Although pineapple in juice is 2.5 syns per 100g, so I'm not sure how much their pineapple weighs

So fresh pineapple would be free?

Yes, fresh pineapple is free - until you cook/puree/blend it, etc. then you are meant to syn it (2 syns per 100g)

I suspect 3 of the 4 syns could be for the half wholemeal roll used and maybe the other one for the pineapple ring??

I'm going to dig out the mag tonight when I get home and check (I forgot last night!)
I assume that you use one wholemeal roll person, and I assume the recipe is for two. Because I can't see the whole recipe I'm not sure what the process is for eveything.
