No that's not the case.
You are advised to use between 5-15 Syns a day to help stop any feelings of deprivation.
You can use them as you see fit, whether it's on chocolate, wine, crisps, sauces with main meals, etc.
You don't have to use all 15 everyday though, so don't feel like you have to use them if you don't want them.
It may take some time to find out what the best number is for you to use each day to help you feel comfortable.
Personally I use between 10-15 each day when I'm on plan.
Some people can use 5-10 and don't feel deprived or crave anything.
Whatever amount you end up using each day, always use at least 5 a day. You need at least some of them to help you lose weight.
Also, don't think that the less Syns you use the more weight you'll lose as it isn't true. You need to use some each day.
