Hark worker with a microwave needs some help!!!!

Okay so I currently work two full time jobs, and I do use the slimming world meals from Iceland but would like to save so pennies so need to cook from scratch.

Can anyone recommend good recipes that can be frozen or reheated in the microwave? I tried the macaroni cheese witch was okay, guessing some of the other pasta dishes might work but would prefer some advice from someone who's done this before instead of wasting my time on meals that don't work out!

Thanks!

Chilli, curry, bolognese, soup, casseroles, cottage/shepherds pie and meatballs are all ones I've frozen before, probably loads of others I can't think of!
I've frozen the chilli and bolognese and meatballs with rice or pasta too.

Awesome! Was a little hesitant to try it without any confirmation that it would work, might have to get cooking some batches this weekend then!

The SW ready meals are syn free which is a bonus!
But buying ready meals (whatever the brand) can get so expensive! I hadn't realised how much some of them were!

This is my problem! I really want to save some pennies! I've found that pasta and dairylea is my cheap go to at the moment, I can always throw chicken or frozen veg in it!

or.. try a slow cooker and put things on before you go to work?

I would start with a Spag Bol or something and see. You will enjoy the taste - better than Iceland ones I think. Good luck x
