Hi all, newbie here, can someone check my menu please x

Hi all... I joined earlier this week, but used the first couple of days to get my head around the plan... with it being new year i didnt stick to it, just tried to make slimming world choices for my meals, but then did have a fair bit of alcohol and have an abundance of cake around. So today is my first proper day, and have planned food for today and my breakfast and lunch tomorrow.
Just wanted to check with some of you experience people that i have got it right.... hope you don't mind.

So today i had
brunch (up to late for breakfast) - 3 eggs scrambled, 3 rashers of bacon (fat removed) tomato and mushrooms. 1 large slice of wholemeal bread (healthy b) 1tsp butter me up light 1 syn
300ml 1% milk for all my tea today (healthy a)

dinner planned is turkey with pasta, 2 tbsp of pesto 3 syns and some low fat grated cheese 4syns

tomorrow i have
250ml semi skimmed milk (healthy a)
mullerlight vanilla with satsumas and grapes
Banana
Lunch chicken sandwich (using 2 slices of large loaf wholemeal, as i have it in and dont want to waste, using one slice as healthy b, and one slice counting 4 syns)
carrot and cucumber sticks with slimming world receipe herb dip.

Going out for dinner tomorrow so will try and make the best choice i can.

Sorry for a very long first post.

Hi and welcome

Your good looks good so far, the key is making sure you've got speed foods in each meal (as much as possible) and making sure you measure everything that has a syn value or is your healthy extra choice. It's surprising how much of a difference it can make by going over on one of them!

Good luck, and I look forward to sharing your journey with you

thankyou

thankyou for your speedy reply. I have previously done Weight Watchers where i had to measure everything so will hopefully still stick to that principle. Worked amazing a couple of years ago, but couldnt get on with the new changes they had.
Hoping trying something completely different is what i need for a kick start.

Can i ask you one more question please... Is it right I have between 5-15 syns daily ? Sorry doing it online so havent got a group to quiz

Yes. You get 5-15 a day to use, and it's always suggested that you use some of them at least. You don't have to use the whole 15 by any means, but you're more likely to lose weight regularly and steadily by using some of them
Some people avoid them almost completely, and they will get a great loss for one week, but then they have poor losses and sometimes gains.
