I won't change my Christmas dinner, it only comes once a year and it's hard enough to cook a huge dinner for all the family without me making things difficult, besides I can't wait!

I dont think the dinner itself will be a problem, I'll make my own low syn stuffing and yorkshires (thanks to Nibbler for the receipe) loads of veg and turkey. I love cranberry sauce tho, so will have to find a syn friendly receipe. No children living in the house so we dont go overboard with chocolates, maybe just one tub - its the alcohol I'll need to keep a check on!

There is a syn free cranberry sauce in the sw Christmas book!

It depends on how long you are going to 'sod it' for! Last Christmas, the woman infront of me at weigh in put on 10lb in 2 weeks, which was 2 months of weight loss down the drain. One bad day had led to another and another and another...

I'd like to think I'll eat what I want just for Xmas day and Boxing day. Alcohol is not too much of an issue with me. Cheese and biscuits on the other hand...

The whole of December for me is usually a giant binge of cakes, chocolates, biscuits - Basically anything not SW friendly. So I've decided I'm going to have a really good run up to Christmas and create little bags full of goodies that will be up to 15 syns. As for Christmas day to me its one day in a year that I look forward to more than any, so I plan to eat and drink what I fancy but just make sure it stops at midnight!

I've been mulling this one over too. My son and I are at my parent's Xmas Day, then he'll be off to his Dad's for a couple of days after that. We have gradually cut down the amount of snacks we get in, and this year will be pretty slim on that front. I got a 'free gift' from M&S when shopping that included box of chocs, choc biccies and a bottle of wine. I've decided I'll get him cheese and crackers and a small selection of nuts, and that's it. I have a rare whole fortnight off work and am going to treat us with a couple of theatre trips and put effort into some SW friendly meals that I wouldn't normally have time for. That's the plan, anyway.

It's the snacks that get me. I'm usually pretty good with Christmas dinner. We don't have too many snack in the house any other time of the year so definitely going to have to try and moderate the twigglets and mince pies oh, and the alcohol (obviously )
