I'm exactly the same. I've been making several large pots of soup every week and have a bowl for lunch most days.

I used to think that you couldn't have soup without at least one slice of bread, but now I find I don't miss the bread at all. I fill the soup full of lots of speed veggies and then blitz it using the hand blender til it's nice and smooth. It is so filling and satisfying.

I'm not a soup lover but saw lots of pins on Pinterest about super speed soup, so had my first go ever at making soup a couple of weeks back. It turned out ok and actually I loved it, I was nervous of not being full and needing bread. But like Thistle I haven't had any bread and find it realy filling, dinner today and tomorrow is the last two tubs from the freezer so I will be back in the kitchen again on the weekend to make some more.

I managed a 2.5lb loss last week, weighing in tonight so fingers crossed the soup has worked some more magic

Not sure whether to go with super speed or try something new?

I have the SW Soup recipe book, but can't say I've tried a lot of them.
There are plenty of great ideas in there though. I really like the minestrone one

I made this soup last week http://www.hummusapien.com/hearty-le...e-potato-soup/

Syn free with fry light not olive oil and definitely filling enough to not need bread.

I meant to try the carrot and ginger from the sw soup book but my carrots were all mouldy
