Should I be synning this

Hi so sometimes I make cous cous patties which is basically cous cous cottage cheese some egg herbs maybe a bit of he a cheese I bake them and they look like savoury cookies I have them with soup like a flat cous cous ball. Am I tweaking ? Soup is home made tomato and lentil soup with onion celery garlic carrot toms and lentils so free foods.

Unfortunately, that's a tweak, as you're consuming it in a form it's not supposed to be consumed in, so it's easier to eat larger quantities of it and in a non-filling way too.

So it's officially a tweak. But, whether or not it affects your weight loss will depend on how much you're having. You may be surprised at how many calories is in one patty and how small it looks, compared to if you'd eaten it like it normally would be.

It still would be a tweak as Matt said, you're eating it in a different form. If you had soup and cous cous you'd feel fuller compared to eating the soup and cous cous balls, so you might be tempted to eat something else to fill you up.

If you look at the quantity of cous cous you get when you make it up how it's supposed to be done and the amount you get when you make the balls, then you'd probably see the difference.

oh really my old consultant would say I could have tweaks if they were part of a main meal. I think free is free regardless of how you have it as long as its part of a meal not making it as snacks. like blended fruit really I don't have it often but if I did I probably wouldn't syn it as long as I didn't intend on eating any more. oh well im a rule breaker lol thanks for your input xx

I still find this one difficult to follow... Lasagne crisp - love them and they used to be free but now as they're classed as snacking food they're syned? But I can eat as much pasta as I want?

I'm a rule breaker too Mummybear, once the weight loss slows then I'll start to stop the tweaks
