Hi!

Well, I've reached the realisation that I might have become obsessed with talking about all things slimming world, weight lost and a lust for choccy biscuits! So much so that my non-slimming friends are stifling a yawn when I start talking and my other half turns deaf quicker than usual

I stumbled on this site in a hope of finding someone who enjoys talking about it as much as I do. I'm really new to this and haven't wrote on a forum for many many years so if I'm in the wrong place then please let me know! I tried to find a through the stones 17-16 but couldn't see one!

Looking forward to meeting some new friends,

Lyndsey

You're absolutely in the right place Hun! welcome!!

We all love having a good old chat about all things SW, we've got food diaries going, general chit chat, and anything else we can think of

Welcome Lyndsey. You're in the right place as we're all SW obsessed here! Having a day off plan today though as I have a couple of social engagements, but I'll be straight back on it tomorrow.

Haha... Mummybear the washing up conversation is a constant here too!

Ooh I'm so pleased I found this, I started to read a forum on minimins and after I'd read all of the comments and was ready to reply, I realised it had closed down! Haha... I got a bit of a stern talking to at SW on Thursday as I've been going for 7 weeks now, my weight loss has been half a pound at the last two weigh ins and I keep saying it's because I'm too lazy to cook etc... Wrong thing to say for a second week running, my usually really happy smiley consultant told me to stop making excuses and she knew I could do it and I need to make an effort etc. she gave me 7 SAS logs and told me she would call me through the week. Oops!

So I've decided she's right and I need to get my self in gear as I need to loose 2lb a week to hit my first goal (arghh) by Christmas. Today the other half is at work so I'm going to jump on the treadmill for half an hour, pop and do a super speed food shop and then come home and make some meals for the week. I'm no cook but I've read the super speed soup recipe a few times over and it seems easy enough... Wish me luck!

I made a lovely soup yesterday it was onion 2 garlic cloves 2 celery sticks 1 tin of tomatoes with basil and 140grams of lentils 750ml of stock. I fried onion garlic and celery to soften added the toms lentils and stock then I also added 1 tsp onion granules 1 tsp garlic Italian Schwartz 1/4 tsp of basil 1/2tsp of parsley and black pepper simmered for 30mins blend. It was seriously lush I found the original recipe here http://lowsynlife.com/home?page=2
