Hi the group I used too go too would say how much you've lost in the week I.e 1lb etc how did you manage it not how much you actually weigh. That would be mortifying wouldn't it 😨

echo the above- we only ever disclosed losses at the class where I went, and how many lbs to target- never what the actual target was or where you were starting from.

Likewise, only weight lost/gained is discussed, not personal weight.

Good luck joining group - my group is really sensitive, they don't even say out loud the loss on the scales, or weight I am. they're not allowed too, then the consultant when she goes through everyone will announce loss, and we clap to celebrate and support, if it's a gain she mentions the total lost to date so still get a clap and support, but will check you're ok moving onto a loss again and if you need any help etc it's talked about then.

Really hope you get to group and enjoy the experience. You could ask around your friends too, see if any go to group as you'd have company, save £5 and they'd save £5 too. you never know if you think about it, you might realise you have a friend who goes.

Let us know how you get on.

I'm really pleased you decided to go along, I also joined alone and think it may be one of the best decisions I made. I've been previously with friends and family and found it difficult when they decided they didn't want to stay to group or perhaps couldn't be bothered to go at all some weeks, I would then feel tempted too and wouldn't stay or go.

Looking back I used it as an excuse to fall into bad habits, so going alone I find that the only person I need to worry about getting me to group is me. I absolutely love staying to group and listening to everyone's stories and being able to share things with one another...

Anyway, good luck with your first week and I can't wait to see your fantastic first week loss
