Newbie

Hi I signed up online today and I'm trying to get my head around the plan. Can somebody explain the plan to me as I've never done slimming world before (the only diet I haven't tried) do we need to account for butter & sugar and milk in coffee as I can't find anything for this.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Thanks guys xxx

Hello and welcome :-)

I am also new to this site but not new to slimming world. If you are following the extra easy plan then you can eat as much free food as you like and then you have to have 1 healthy A a day and 1 healthy B a day. Your A choices are milk and cheese (lists should be on website) and B choices are bread and cereals (again a list should be on website).

You then should have between 5 and 15 syns a day which include things like butter, sugar, sauces, dressings, snacks etc. If you have additional milk in your tea to the allowance you can have on your Healthy A choice then you would have to syn this also.

For instance you can have 250ml of semi skimmed milk for an Healthy A choice so if you have anything more than this it would need to be synned.

Hope that makes sense and I haven't confused you even more :-) x

Most mullerlights are free. Vanilla, toffee, banana, strawberry, cherry, cranberry, mango, and the ones with chocolate sprinkles. The ones that have a cherry underlayer and the dessert (cheesecake etc) are not free, but they are low in Syns.
The Danone Activia 0% ones are free too. And the Weight Watcher ones too. But any with the fruit layer are sunned.

The SW website has a 'Syns Online' section under 'My Weight Loss Tools' that will give you the Syns for virtually everything you might need. If there are any particular snacks, etc you want to know the Syns of, just type the name of it in the search box and it should show you the Syns
Ask if you get stuck

Welcome to the forum Sarah. You can find all the food values on the website under My Weight Loss Tools at the top, and Syns Online over on the right. Maybe you could download the pdf's of Free Food and Healthy Extras and stick them on your fridge? Plenty of us here to help if you get stuck :-)
