Well that was stupid!

Been a really busy day today sorting all the paperwork for the accountants. Early start so I didn't have time for breakfast and worked through lunch. Survived today on coffee and paracetamol

Didn't finish work til an hour ago so on the way home I dropped in tesco and picked up a quick microwave dinner. Half price £1.69 for a tescos own tikka and bombay potato indian dish. There I was thinking how well today had gone and I might even have a few spare syns to save for the weekend.

Just looked up what I just ate. Blooming 18 Syns.

How gutted am I

I don't know how I keep forgetting about ding dinners Just wanted something quick and easy

Oh no can you flexi syn it? It's so hard when you're busy and just have to grab stuff. Try and not be too hard on yourself!

I did the exact same thing Monday... WI night, and no time to prep anything, so grabbed something from the freezer (Chicken Tikka and pilau rice from M&S) at 14 syns, which took me waaaay over to 23

Start again today, don't dwell on it too much

Don't worry - look at it this way: if you had not eaten anything else all day, I very much doubt the calories in the ready meal equated to over 1500 (roughly the daily allowance you end up with on SW).

So although it isn't ideal, it won't affect your weight loss this week. Just clamber back on and have a good week :-)

Oh no. What yogurt has 10 syns? I've never really thought about yogurts because I don't have them often but you kinda assume they are healthy

It was one from the canteen at work. It had fruit and granola on it. The closest I could find was the tesco yogurt with granola which was on the app as 10 syns. Totally not worth it.

Have you thought of keeping a few lesser Syn meals in the freezer for emergencies? There was a thread on Minimins with a list of the Weight Watcher Syn values which was handy to know. It's still there but I'm new and on the iPad so can't post a link or bring the data over yet. Might be worth a look.

There's some Sliiming World ready meals (available in Iceland) which are syn free. I think the only thing you'd need to do would be to cook rice/pasta to go with them... I haven't tried any so I don't know what they come with

In hindsight I should have gone for a weight watchers meal or something like that but since I had nearly all my syns left I didn't think it would be over maybe 10/11 syns. I was too tired to look round and they were on special at the beginning of the store :/

Lesson learned

Would be interested on the syns of Weight Watcher meals. Don't suppose you have the link to hand?
